UKCutter EH / MH Series Setup Guide Mac OS X STEP 0: Before you can use the Cutter on a Mac, a Digitus-type USB Serial (RS232) Adaptor must be purchased. IMPORTANT: The adaptor specifications must be USB 2.0, and it must use the FTDI / FT232R chipset. STEP 1: Connect the Serial/RS232 cable to the Cutter. STEP 2: Connect the other end of the Serial Cable to the USB Serial Adaptor. STEP 3: Plug the Adaptor into the USB port on the Mac. Image for illustration purposes only - adaptor may differ STEP 4: If you are using Mac OS X version lesser than 10.9, download the drivers from the link below. If you are using Mac OS X 10.9 or greater, then skip to STEP 6 STEP 5: Double click the file and depending on your OS version, install the driver.
